Terms & Conditions

The terms on which Khidki sells artwork. Written to be read, not to be skipped.

Last updated 23 July 2026

1. Who you are dealing with

This website is operated by Saudamini Jena, an individual artist working under the studio name Khidki, based in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.

Khidki is not a registered company. It is a sole proprietorship, which means your contract is directly with me as an individual rather than with a corporate entity. I am not currently registered for GST. Contact: saudamini@mykhidki.com. A full postal address is provided on any invoice and on request.

By browsing this site, sending an enquiry, or placing an order, you agree to these terms.

2. What is being sold

Khidki artworks are created digitally by Saudamini Jena and sold as signed fine-art prints. There is no physical original painting, and nothing on this site should be read as offering one. What you buy is the print, described in full on the Authenticity & Print Quality page.

Store prints are open edition and are not numbered or limited. Every effort is made to describe each work accurately, including dimensions, paper and finish. Images on screen are representations: colour, texture and scale read differently on paper than on a backlit display.

3. Prices and payment

4. Enquiries and orders

An enquiry submitted through this site is not an order and does not reserve a work. It is an invitation to a conversation. A binding contract exists only once I have confirmed your order and payment in writing.

I reserve the right to decline any order — for example where a delivery address cannot be served, or where a request falls outside what I am able to make.

5. Delivery and risk

Delivery times are estimates in good faith, not guarantees; couriers, customs and weather are outside my control. Risk in the artwork passes to you on delivery. Where an item arrives damaged, the Returns & Replacement Policy applies.

6. Copyright and how you may use the artwork

Buying an artwork buys you the printed piece. It does not transfer copyright and it does not transfer the underlying digital file, both of which remain with Saudamini Jena in all cases.

You may: display the work in your home or business, photograph it in your space, and share those photographs socially with a credit.

You may not, without written permission: reproduce, print, scan or copy the artwork; use it in advertising, packaging, merchandise or products for sale; use it to train machine-learning models; or resell reproductions of it.

All images, text and design on this website are likewise protected. Downloading, scraping or republishing them is not permitted.

7. Art for commercial spaces

Where artwork is supplied to a café, hotel, restaurant, office or other commercial space, display in that space is permitted. Any use in the business's own marketing beyond incidental photography of the interior needs a separate licence, which I am usually glad to grant — just ask.

8. Liability

My liability in connection with any order is limited to the amount you paid for it. I am not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including your statutory rights as a consumer under Indian law.

9. This website

The site is provided as it is. I try to keep it accurate and available but cannot promise it will always be error-free or uninterrupted. Links to other sites are provided for convenience; I am not responsible for their content.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Bengaluru, Karnataka.

11. Changes

These terms may be updated from time to time. The version that applies to your order is the one published on the day you placed it.
